With a brand-new look that pays homage to their proud history, and a new website and promotional video, Blackley Group Managing Director Kevin Blackley is positive about the company’s future.
“Over the years we have drifted away from the company colours my parents originally chose when they set up GD Blackley Limited in 1960,” he says. “Other colours began mixing in on our vehicles and it became too confusing and inconsistent to keep up with, so we have gone back to basics and modernised our brand and style along with a new website, utilising video.
“It is important to us to keep the website looking fresh, as we realise it is the first port of call for many of our clients. I see that as an important tool for us and we will be able to stay up-to-date, showing current jobs and what we are about.”
Kevin says he found appearing in the video somewhat “challenging” but realises it is a great way to reach people.
“It wasn’t something that was at the forefront for me – I’ve come from being on the machinery, where public speaking wasn’t a priority,” he laughs. “However updating our brand and website gives us a sharper, more professional look and better reflects our company values.”
“It’s a competitive market out there so we will do what we can to show people just what we can do.”
