Key features / statistics:
- This project involved 865 meters of 150mm, 100mm, 50mm and 32mm PVC ducting by means of open trenching and pipe ramming
- The project was aimed to replace the Feilding Business and West Town 33kV electrical cables
- The ramming of a 457-diameter steel casing under the railway tracks (three tracks in total). enabling us to sleeve all our PVC ducting under the tracks. tracks.

Brief description of the work:
– This project was in the western sector of Feilding (Haybittle Street, Aorangi Street, and Gladstone Street)
– It involved extensive liaison with affected business owners i.e. TRC Toyota and New World and residents along our alignment
– Hydro vac truck was utilized to pothole and locate services prior to mechanical excavation commencing
– Surface reinstatement was completed within 48 hours of each trench section being prepared for seal (as per NZTA requirements being in the state highway).
