In 2010 Blackley Construction Ltd will be proudly celebrating their 50th year in the construction industry.

We have a wide range of plant and equipment to enable us to complete projects cost efficiently and to a high standard.

The Blackley Group continues to invest heavily in purchasing and developing specialist plant to meet the requirements of projects we undertake.

At Blackley Construction Ltd we recognise that Quality Assurance is an important part of the Contractor / Client relationship.

To ensure that any system we implement is robust Blackley Construction Ltd has decided to, and is in the process of, implementing the QEST Integrated Management System. This system, once completed to a satisfactory level, will be audited and certified by Audit New Zealand to ISO 9001 and 14001.

Currently, quality assurance systems and forms are developed on an individual project basis.

At Blackley Construction Limited we understand that not only do we need to meet specific safety standards so as to comply with government regulations, we also need to protect our staff and clients from hazards that our industry create during the normal daily operations.

We recognise that managing workplace Health and Safety is a partnership and as such must be managed in that way by all parties.

To this end we have had an effective and robust Health and Safety program operating for many years that meets Blackley Construction Ltd needs and our Clients' needs while satisfying the government regulations.
